I have just finished having dinner at the Flat Iron in Victoria. Wonderful! The Wagyu Flat Iron steak, rare, was so tender and flavorful. I ordered the bernaise and the wild mushroom sauces. Both were fantastic. My Old Fashioned cocktail came in a tiny flask (nice flair) and was surprisingly tasty. The La Foule Pinot Noir paired well with my Wagyu. The best part of dinner was the warm hospitality and fantastic service given by TAL the bartender. TAL schooled me on cuts of meat and the best way to order them. A very personable yet efficient bartender, made me feel like a regular, and so appreciated. Kudos to Flat Iron for great food and drinks at a very reasonable price. The staff is wonderful! This will be one of my go-to joints in London.

Very small almost hole in the wall restaurant. The main entrance is almost hidden , not a huge sign denoting it we almost missed it. Once we were seated the service was good , tables are very close together. The steak was so good so tender. Served not even in plate served on a piece of wood. Cocktails were made at the bar but served in a flask with their logo on it, pretty cool. Everything we had was fantastic from the steak to the potatoes and the Mac n cheese. We would have gotten ice cream but their machine was down. Can get pretty loud at times because of the closeness of all the tables. Definitely need to make a reservation ahead of time.

Pro-tip: come early, so you have a semi-decent-chance to grab a seat before the rest of the flock arrives. If you're traveling solo like me, there's a high probability you can skip the line at the bar. Bottom line: the best culinary deal you shall find in London . Period. A must-stop-by to find a bargain during inflationary times . Show me another place serving a high quality steak for 14 pounds? Yeah, you can't, can you? To put this in perspective, a SMALL cheese pizza from a fast-food chain costs 17.99 pounds. But wait, there's more! Each patron receives a free complimentary popcorn snack before meal, and at the conclusion of the meal, you are awarded a 'cleaver token' to be exchanged for a free ice cream cone. So for 14 pounds, you receive popcorn, steak and a desert ice cream cone! Probably cheaper than if you bought each individually from the grocery store ! So I ordered the flat iron steak (medium rare), and two side sauces -- béarnaise sauce and pepperoni. Steaks came out perfectly medium rare , melt -n-your-mouth and already sliced for consumption. But if you must cut it further, they provide a miniature fancy cleaver. From a well-trained chef, it's a rookie mistake to dip any sorta sauce in a juicy medium rare steak. In some countries , you're insulting the chef. I tried two of the side sauces on a few pieces just to see what they tasted like. Béarnaise -- skip. Too rich . Cannot taste meat. Peppercorn-- okay. Better flavor , but just order the flat straight up. I also ordered the cream spinach side. It was more wholesome and healthier as it contained less concentration of the cream side Im accustomed to. Complimentary ice cream cone was excellent. Tasted like something I found at salt 'n straw: basically ice-cream cone of what a sticky toffee pudding would look like. Strong 5/5 stars. Can't recommend enough.

Came here twice while staying in London it was that good. Prices were very reasonable and the steaks were delicious. The service was so fast, we were served within 15 minutes our meaWe did a flat iron steak, which was salty and full of well flavor. Ask for medium rare steak and you will get just that, amazing! Our second time we got the special of the day, Wagyu Picahana for 2. This steak was thick and unfortunately, quite fatty. Had good flavor. Slightly more tender than the flat iron, but we agreed the extra fat ends made it not worth it. We also got the truffle Mac n cheese, the mashed potatoes, and the chips - all superb. The meal ended with free ice cream. Highly recommend this inexpensive dinner experience to everyone!

Thanks to my yelping in London, we found an inexpensive but popular steak place in SOHO. Our bus guide also said the place was extra popular. An easy ride to this area, got us there before the crowd. Putting our name on the waiting list got us a table in less than 10 minutes. The menu is simple: 2 types of meat cuts and the specials also include a ribeye and Waygu options. We opted to try the ribeye and the Waygu Bavette(a type of sirloin). Both cuts were cooked to our request. Hubby said his Waygu was super tender. Server recommended one side selection per person since they were portions made for one. The truffle mac and cheese was amazing. The chips(fries) were amazing! Service is quick, lots of servers and food runners. At the end of our meal, they give us these tiny meat cleavers where we can exchange them for free homemade ice cream. There are many London locations and I've read all of them have the same service, food quality and ambiance.

Flat Iron is a local chain steakhouse that has their experience down to a science leading to incredible popularity. They start you off with popcorn (it's seasoned with beef drippings, so not for vegetarians). We ordered the flat iron and the bavette and both were very tasty, well marbled and prepared as ordered. The sides were perfect for vegetarians and omnivores alike. They send you out the door with some soft ice cream, in case you weren't full enough already. Super fun and reasonably priced.

Kasim was the BEST waiter. I've been here a few times. My husband and I try to get there every time we're in London. His family is there so we go at least once a year. They have some of the best burgers I've ever had. We had our wedding there in December 2022, we brought over roughly 20 Americans. We brought them all here and they still rave about the burgers (over a year later) The icing on the cake is the ice cream cone on the way out. Just perfect! One of my absolute favorite spots!!

We came to this location when we were visiting London back in July. We made reservations ahead of time for 6 people. I think 6 was the max they'll let you book for at this location. Other locations I can't remember which one now was a max of 4. We arrived and were seated immediately. We sat at a table in the back closest to the bar. Our waiter came and introduced himself. He asked us if we'd been there before and proceeded to explain the menu to us. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us as that was our first time there. 5 of us ordered the flat iron steak and one of us ordered the burgers. We got all the sides to share except the chips since they were out. The food arrived quickly. My steak was delicious even though it was more done than I had requested. All the sides were delish. Our fave was the bone marrow mash. The mash was so buttery and smooth. At the end they gave us tiny cleavers as a souvenir which you can also trade in for an ice cream cone. My cousin who got the ice cream do it was delicious. If we ever come back to London to visit, we would for sure try the other locations or come back for lunch.
